Varsity Brands

Varsity Brands is the leader in team athletic gear, cheerleading uniforms and student milestones. They acquired a standalone building in Farmers Branch to serve as their new headquarters, hiring K2 to assist in a large-scale refresh of the 140,000 square foot office. The K2 team accommodated $4.5 million in owner-supplied furniture that was installed concurrent with active construction 6 weeks into the project and required protection for the remaining duration. Additionally, K2 coordinated $1 million in branding efforts that were added as owner-initiated change orders and were designed, priced and implemented in real time. From initial contract to completion, the scope more than doubled with no impact to the already aggressive schedule. Some interesting design elements include simulated basketball court flooring, turf feature walls and branded graphics displayed on 70% of the corridor and common area walls. This project required a true collaborative team effort between Cushman & Wakefield, Corgan and K2 in order to deliver on the initial schedule despite significant scope changes throughout the project.

K2 Construction worked closely with IA | Interior Architects and Jamba Juice on their new headquarters in Frisco, Texas. This very unique space truly reflects the spirit of the Jamba Juice Brand. The first floor reception desk contains custom millwork with a glass corner showcasing Jamba Juiceā€™s first blender. The remainder of the floor includes a full test-kitchen, a retail store and additional office space. The seventh floor has a mix of open collaborative space, private office, conferencing, training and a breakroom.

Spire is a privately-held commercial real estate services company founded in 1989 with a presence in Dallas, Houston and Austin. In partnership with idGroup, K2 Construction was selected to complete the build out of their new headquarters on the 21st floor of Bryan Tower, a 40-story Class-A office building in downtown Dallas. This office serves as a marketing center for their new developments and features polished concrete floors, glass office fronts and open ceiling throughout.
